Two men stabbed
CEBU, Philippines - Two drunken men landed in hospital after they were stabbed by an unidentified man inside a jeepney while in barangay Calawisan, Lapu-Lapu City Thursday night.
Bing Codilla, 46, and Noli Maru, 43, both residents of barangay Pagsabungan, Mandaue City, were taken to the Lapu-Lapu City Hospital for wounds on the legs.
Police said the two men had just come from Cordova town where a fiesta was celebrated.
Inside the jeepney, Codilla said he had reprimanded a child for crying without letup.
Somewhere in barangay Calawisan, a man got off the jeepney, but before doing so, he struck Codilla and Maru on the legs with a knife. (FREEMAN)
