Jeepney barker shot dead

CEBU, Philippines - A man on a motorcycle shot dead Sunday afternoon a jeepney barker in barangay Tabunok, Talisay City.

The barker, known only as “Daot” was shot in the face and on the neck. He failed to reach the hospital alive.

Witnesses failed to jot down the motorcycle’s plate number. The gunman wore a helmet.

“Tungod sa kapaspas sa hitabo walay nakaklaro sa gunman kay naka-helmet man o sa plate number man lang,” desk officer PO1 Joel Lopez said.

Lopez said the dead man was new to the place.

“Dili man kuno na taga-diha kay dili na siya permanente sa lugar unya wa gyud na siyay kaila,” Lopez said. (FREEMAN)
