American loses money, gadgets

CEBU, Philippines - An American national lost money amounting to more than P150,000 and gadgets worth P30 ,000 that he left in his delivery truck Monday noon in Subangdaku, Mandaue City.

John Sullivan, 65, of Puro, Cebu and his wife parked his truck on the roadside to buy a car battery for his vehicle.

When they came back, the bag containing $3,000, P43,000, registration papers for his Mitsubishi Canter, a mobile phone worth P14,000, and a camera valued at P14,000 were already missing.

He told police he forgot to lock the vehicle when he and his wife got off from it.  (FREEMAN)
