Cop loses motorcycle

CEBU, Philippines - A policeman lost his motorcycle which was parked near the premises of the Mandaue City Police Office (MCPO) early morning of Tuesday.

PO2 Brian Berenguer, 34, of the City Public Safety Company  (CPSC)  parked his red XRM motorcycle with plate No. 5089 GD in front of an eatery two meters away from the police headquarters at around 4 a.m.

At around 8 a.m. he discovered his motorcycle gone when he tried to take a quick look at it from his office.

Rebecca Ouano, owner of the eatery, said she saw a man pushing a motorcycle towards the adjacent Mandaue City fire station.

Berenguer reported the theft of his motorcycle to his fellow policemen but they failed to find it.

Berenguer said he left his wallet in the motorcycle which contained P100, his driver’s license, AFPSLAI identification card, and a pay slip.  (FREEMAN)
