Paz repeats appeal to segregate waste

CEBU, Philippines - Lapu-Lapu City Mayor Paz Radaza has again appealed to residents to segregate garbage.

“We can start by keeping our city clean. Atong limpyohan atong tugkaran. Let us segregate our garbage,” Radaza said.

She said segregating garbage will cut the time in collecting and bring down the volume of the garbage brought to the Material Recovery Facility.

“Nalipay kita nga misanong ang atong mga molupyo sa kabarangayan sa atong kampanya apan kinahanglan nga kini magpadayon gayud,” Radaza said.

Radaza said the city government has intensified this campaign to attract tourists.  (FREEMAN)
