Drug seller arrested

CEBU, Philippines - Police, acting on a tipoff, have arrested a 26-year-old former gunrunner for possession of alleged shabu which was hidden inside a ball-pen.

Dandreb Cobarde, single, of sitio Orel in barangay Casuntingan, was on his way to deliver the prohibited drug to an employee of one of the establishments in the area when arrested.

Casuntingan police chief PSr./Insp Ramil Morpos said Cobarde had hidden the shabu inside the ball-pen to avoid detection.

Cobarde admitted his supplier of shabu lives in Casuntingan.

Charges of possession of illegal drugs have been filed against Cobarde who is currently detained at the Casuntingan police station.  (FREEMAN)
