Who would be Talisay’s next city administrator, legal officer?

CEBU, Philippines - Talisay City Mayor-elect Johnny delos Reyes has yet to announce the persons who will occupy the positions that will be vacated at city hall when he takes over on July 1. 

Among the positions to be filled up are those being held by the city administrator and city legal officer, which are co-terminus with the outgoing administration. 

City administrator Ritchel Bacaltos said he will no longer serve the city government considering he was Alayon’s campaign manager in the last May elections. 

Delos Reyes, who is the Liberal Party head in Talisay, defeated Alayon president first district Rep. Eduardo Gullas, who is serving his third and last term. 

Vice Mayor-elect Romeo Villarante told The Freeman the new administration already has people in mind who will replace Bacaltos and city legal officer Owen Algoso.

 The replacements will be announced by delos Reyes.  (FREEMAN)
