Pregnant woman stabbed
CEBU, Philippines - A woman who is eight months pregnant was stabbed the other night by her live-in partner with the blade allegedly puncturing her lungs.
Faith Inco Dizon, 25, was stabbed by Junrey Igot Cacha, 32, who is allegedly a drug addict.
The couple lives in sitio Buyong, barangay Maribago in Lapu-Lapu City.
Police said Cacha arrived home at about 11:15 p.m. and without any provocation stabbed his live-in partner on the shoulder.
She was taken to the Lapu-Lapu City District Hospital but transferred to the Don Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center due to the severity of the wound.
Cacha was seen in the neighborhood and arrested.
When frisked, Cacha yielded shabu.
