Bottled water for traffic enforcers

Flor Z. Perolina - The Freeman

CEBU, Philippines - Thirty-six department heads of the Mandaue City Hall will contribute money for the purchase of bottled water for traffic enforcers of the Traffic Enforcement Agency in Mandaue (TEAM).

City administrator James Abadia said the idea to buy water for the people who direct traffic came from some department heads.

“Kani baya jud sila grabe ka expose sa init kay anha gud ni sila tunga sa dalan mga man sa traffic,” Abadia said.

It’s just one bottle of water for each enforcer, Abadia said, but it’s one way of showing to TEAM members the city takes care of them.

Abadia also announced that traffic enforcers in the city will soon have a new set of uniforms with hats to protect them from the sun and rain.  (FREEMAN)
