Eddiegul welcomes endorsements

CEBU, Philippines - First district Representative and Talisay City mayoralty candidate Eduardo Gullas welcomes any kind of endorsement, including one from the alliance of lay ministers called “Lay Initiatives For Election (LIFE) 2013.” 

The alliance also endorses gubernatorial aspirant Gerard Anthony “Samsam” Gullas (first district), who is running unopposed.

Dr. Rene Josef Bullecer, the country director for Human Life International-Philippines, said LIFE’s endorsement of Gullas has something to do with his pro-life stand especially in the fight against the RH bill. 

“After the RH bill, we cannot allow another failure. We will do our best to help ensure a pro-life victory this May 13,” Bullecer said. 

For congressman, LIFE 2013 endorsed Gerard Anthony “Samsam” Gullas (first district), Pablo Garcia (second district), Gwendolyn Garcia (third district), Benhur Salimbangon (fourth district), Ace Durano (fifth district), Luigi Quisumbing (sixth district), Aileen Radaza (Lapu-Lapu lone district), and Raul Del Mar (Cebu City North district).

Bullecer said LIFE has 28 organizations with members under the Council of the Laity and 29 different charismatic groups in Cebu.

LIFE also endorses third district Rep. Pablo John Garcia, who is running for governor. 

The group will hold a prayer rally to be called “Unity for LIFE Prayer Rally” at 4 p.m. today at Plaza Independencia.  (FREEMAN)
