Suicide? Crime lab can’t tell yet

Bong Soriano - The Freeman

CEBU, Philippines - PNP Crime Laboratory medico legal Dr. Nestor Satur has come out with an autopsy report of Lynette Tagimacruz Stone, 44, the woman who was found dead in her car in barangay Pajo, Lapu-Lapu City, but stopped short of saying whether it was a suicide or that foul play was involved.

Satur will wait for the result of a paraffin test to come out before he says anything about the cause of the death.

Satur said Stone sustained a gunshot wound on her palate with the bullet remaining embedded there.

Homicide investigators believe Stone put the gun in her mouth and then pulled the trigger.

Stone’s body was discovered inside her own car parked outside of her residence.

Recovered were a .38 cal. revolver, five bullets, an empty shell, a cellular phone, and other valuables. (FREEMAN)
