CEBU, Philippines - Two dead fetuses were found in a glass case floating in the seawaters off Pier 1 last Thursday afternoon.

The fetuses, which were male and female, estimated to be about five months old, were found by Reynaldo Sumampong, 23, who works as a diver for the rehabilitation of Pier 1’s underwater post.

Sumampong, who is employed by BNR Construction and a native of Ronda town, was in the water at around 3 p.m. when he found a glass container floating near him.

He immediately notified the Port Police which then sought assistance from the Homicide Section.

The fetuses were taken to the Surelife Funeral Homes in Natalio Bacalso Avenue.  (FREEMAN)
