Man arrested for gun possession

CEBU, Philippines - Police yesterday arrested a 38-year-old man for gun possession in sitio Kimba, barangay San Roque, Talisay City.

Roldan Teves alias “Tata” was having a drink with friends when police arrested him. Seized from Teves was a loaded .357 cal. revolver.

Police said village watchmen were tipped off by a motorist who saw a man fire a gun.

Teves faces charges for illegal possession of firearms and violation of the Comelec gun ban. —  (FREEMAN)
