Man shoots, wounds neighbor

CEBU, Philippines - A 38-year-old man was shot and wounded by a neighbor who he had provoked Tuesday night in sitio Puwa, barangay San Isidro, Talisay City.

Condrado Cuizon, married, sustained a gunshot wound on the upper part of his body.

His alleged assailant, identified as Roger Resuena alias “Jong-jong,” 56, is in hiding.

SPO1 Edgar Causon said that prior to the incident, Cuizon allegedly went to Resuena’s house where he uttered unpleasant words.

Some people inside the house tried to pacify Resuena and took him outside of the house, Causon said.

Causon said that when Resuena was about 25 meters from the house, Cuizon followed and shot him. (FREEMAN)
