Korean loses P300k at fastfood outlet

CEBU, Philippines - A Korean tourist lost a bag while dining at a fastfood outlet at a mall at the Reclamation Area in Mandaue City Friday afternoon.

As Kim Jae Young, 54, and some friends settled down to eat, Kim placed his bag behind his chair.

While eating, two men and two women approached Kim’s table and pretended to amuse themselves with a child Kim’s friends had brought with them.

When the group left, Kim noticed his bag was gone.

He said his bag contained P300,000, $100, credit cards, and documents.

SPO3 Marcos Noval said it would be difficult to solve the case because the food outlet has no CCTV cameras. (FREEMAN)
