Talisay jail officers to make sure inmates remain inside

Garry B. Lao - The Freeman

CEBU, Philippines -  The Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) will remain vigilant to any possible jail break during the Christmas season.

Senior Jail Officer 4 Edwin Sarcon, deputy warden of the Talisay City jail, said this is the time of the year when inmates wish to be with their loved ones.

The jail holds 277 inmates, 28 of which are women while six are minors.

Sarcon said the city jail is doing everything to make the season as merry as possible for the inmates.

“Estrikto ta sa implementasyon ilabi na sa searching o pagkapkap sa mga mobisita sa mga piniriso aron pagsiguro nga walay makalusot nga mga kontrabando diha sa sulod,” Sarcon said. (FREEMAN)
