CEBU, Philippines - The office of Senators Alan Peter Cayetano and Pia Cayetano yesterday announced that it has allotted P3 million worth of medical assistance for Cebu province residents.

Aside from the medical assistance, the Cayetanos has also allotted from their Priority Development Assistance Fund (PDAF) P1 million each for the construction of school buildings in Mandaue City, Comspotela, Sibonga, and Ginatilan towns.

During a press conference at Parkmall yesterday, the Cayetanos’ Senate staff Nerito “Rey” Martinez said that the Mandaue City Comprehensive National High School will be the beneficiary of P1 million.

Martinez also said the medical assistance is available at the Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center wherein a desk is provided to assist those who wish to avail of the aid.

The P1,000 medical assistance is intended for the purchase of medicine for those confined at the hospital.  Patients can only spend the money for medicine at the pharmacy of the VSMMC. (FREEMAN)
