Pot-holed barangay road in Lapu-Lapu bane of motorists

CEBU, Philippines - Motorists and tricycle drivers curse the city government for alleged negligence as they negotiate the dilapidated road in barangay Agus in Lapu-Lapu City.

A concerned resident of the barangay has provided The Freeman photos of the barangay road in its woeful condition.

Tricycle drivers plying the Agus-Maribago route grumble especially when it rains.

Barangay Agus captain Bo Oyao told The Freeman that portions of the road are in bad shape and need repair.

Oyao said tricycle drivers had approached him to complain about the situation, and in response he tried to address the problem by using his own money but failed.

“Kita sa atong kabahin nangita gayud og paagi aron mahatagan og kasulbaran ang maong problema, apan naglisud gyud ta,” said Oyao. (FREEMAN)
