CEBU, Philippines - A 29-year-old security guard who lives in barangay Pajac, Lapu-Lapu City was shot and wounded Thursday evening by two unidentified robbers who then took his motorcycle.
Jenylan Atil who was on his way to work as a security guard of Marriott Hotel in Cebu City was taken to hospital for a gunshot wound on his lower right arm.
Atil told police that while traveling on his motorcycle in Pajac, he noticed two men standing in an unlit vacant lot. Suddenly, he heard a gunshot and realized he was hit.
He said he stopped for fear of being hit again and ran toward the main road to ask for help from bystanders.
The police arrived but failed to find the culprits. (FREEMAN)
