American breaks glass table; travel agency complains

- Flor Z. Perolina - The Philippine Star

CEBU, Philippines - A travel agency manager filed a malicious mischief complaint against an American national who allegedly broke a glass table because the agency he had contracted had allegedly failed to help him get a permanent visa.

Jenny Porier, 43, manager of RJ Agency in barangay Centro filed the complaint against American national Warren Baker, 70, married, who resides at Avalon Condominium at the Ayala Business Park.

Centro police station chief P C/Insp. Elmer Fernandez said Baker had sought the agency’s assistance in the processing of his visa.

When the American, while in Manila, learned that his application was denied, he came back to Cebu to confront the agency.

Porier told Baker that Immigration had already made a decision and that there was nothing the agency could do about it.  (FREEMAN)
