Firm in Mandaue robbed

CEBU, Philippines – An industrial firm in barangay Maguikay, Mandaue City was robbed of five cellular phones and P100,000 last Monday dawn.
Armando Serapin, 60, of Gentle Breeze Subdivision in barangay Subangdaku and owner of Insuphil Industrial Corporation, reported the incident to the Casuntingan police station after the company’s caretaker informed him about a burglary last Monday.
Casuntingan police station chief P/Insp. Jimmy Fortes said the police found the firm’s roof destroyed.
He said the security guard was asleep while the robbery was in progress.
The police also learned the security guard at the time and his reliever are not licensed guards. – THE FREEMAN
