2 boys admit to raping girl, 5

CEBU, Philippines - Two minors, aged 14 and 16, were arrested by the police in Lapu-Lapu City the other day for the alleged rape of a five-year-old girl in barangay Looc.

The boys, who are now in the custody of the Lapu-Lapu City Social Welfare Office, have admitted to the crime.

Initial investigation conducted by the Lapu-Lapu City Police Women’s Section disclosed that the mother of the victim noticed something unusual with her daughter.

She said she didn’t like what she noticed about the appearance of the private parts of the girl.

Policemen quickly found the boys.
