Radaza eyes PNoy's help

CEBU, Philippines - Lapu-Lapu City Mayor Paz Radaza has warned the Department of Public Works and Highways she will turn to President Aquino for help if the government agency cannot continue with the road concreting project in barangay Maribago.

Radaza said the project’s contractor has stopped the work allegedly due to lack of funding.

The dilapidated road has inconvenienced the public, she said.

“Murag dunay problema sa funding mao nga ang contractor mihunong na lang una sa ilang pagpatuman sa proyekto,” Radaza said.

She said the city government will not allocate funds for the project because it is a national project.

“Nakadaut man gud diha sa Marigondon gumikan kay ang mga tawo nagtuo nga kini proyekto sa dakbayan,” she said.  (FREEMAN)
