Thief arrested

CEBU, Philippines - One of the four suspects who burglarized a house in Maria Antonia Village in barangay Labogon, Mandaue City Friday dawn was arrested at his home in sitio Familia in barangay Labogon.

Through the help of a witness, Marwin Melendrez, 19, was caught by the police in possession of some stolen appliances and personal belongings.

Among the things stolen from one Ben Caro Ankoncel, 43, were a Sony digital camera worth P25,000, a cellular phone worth P3,000, a multi-tool worth P5,000, assorted backpacks worth P15,000, a portable DVD player worth P10,000, and a rice cooker.
