Tanod surrenders after shooting another man

CEBU, Philippines - A barangay tanod of barangay Maribago, Lapu-Lapu City surrendered to authorities after shooting a man who he thought made fun of him Monday evening.

The alleged gun wielder was identified by the police as Bernardo Pakib, 52, married, a resident of barangay Maribago, and a barangay Public Safety Officer (BPSO) of the same barangay.

Ronaldo Lumandas, 32, married, a resident of sitio Buyong barangay Maribago, employed as a packer at a shell factory, was taken to hospital for a gunshot wound in the chest. - THE FREEMAN
