Man dies in road mishap
CEBU, Philippines - A man died after bumping his motorcycle into another motorcycle Thursday afternoon on M.C. Briones highway in barangay Labogon, Mandaue City.
Ryan Mirabueno, 22, of barangay Cogon, Bogo City did not reach the Mandaue City Hospital alive.
Mirabueno’s motorcycle was severely damaged and so was the motorcycle of Jose Dante Amolo, 39, of barangay Guadalupe, Cebu City.
The traffic division of the Mandaue City Police Office said Amolo was on his way to Cebu City and as he executed a u-turn at the Petron Gasoline station Mirabueno, who was on his way to Consolacion town, bumped into him.
The impact threw both riders to the pavement, resulting to injuries.
Both were taken to the hospital.
Amolo was detained at the Basak police station after treatment. (FREEMAN)
