Indian national shot, wounded

CEBU, Philippines - A 39-year-old Indian national was shot and wounded by an unidentified person while collecting payments in barangay Pajac, Lapu-Lapu City Wednesday evening.

The police have yet to establish the motive for the shooting but the police have theorized it had something to do with his lending business.

Jaswinder Gill Singh, married, a resident of sitio Abuno, barangay Pajac, Lapu-Lapu City, was taken to the Mactan Doctors’ Hospital for two gunshot wounds on the stomach.

Police said Singh had just collected payment from a client and was about to board his motorbike when shot.

His attacker fled immediately. (FREEMAN)
