Robbery gang members arrested, stolen items recovered

Police recovered the cellular phone a man took from a woman Thursday evening along H. Abellano Street in barangay Jogobiao, Mandaue City.

 The man who was arrested gave his name as Ricky Villamor but the police later found out his real name is Richie Andujar.

 Basak police station chief P Sr./Insp Wilson Abot said Andujar along with cousin Ponciano Villamor and Arnel Porras who were arrested Wednesday evening belongs to one group that is responsible for the series of robberies in Metro Cebu.

 Abot said the police also recovered a netbook and a cellular phone.

 He said the three men sold these in barangay Pasil, Cebu City.

 He said the netbook was sold for P5,000 while the Nokia Express Music phone went for P2,000.

Abot assured more items stolen by the group will be recovered in the days to come.
