Rivera, manager of Ahoya Subdivision in Cordova, sustained multiple stab wounds in his body after the subdivision’s electrician, Jun Cervantes, stabbed him several times Friday morning.

The police identified the suspects as Eleuterio Cleopas Jr., 22; Anton Bonghanoy; and a certain Genio all residents of the said barangay.

According to the police, the victim came from a beer house when he met the suspects on his way home. Police investigators have yet to establish the motive of the crime, but, witnesses told the police that a fistfight happened between the victim and the three suspects.

But since the victim was outnumbered he suffered heavy beatings and sustained stab wounds. The witness immediately rushed the victim to the hospital after the suspects left. – /FPL
