CEBU, Philippines - A 27-year-old man was shot and wounded by two unidentified men riding in tandem Thursday night in Barangay Pajac, Lapu-Lapu City.
Ronaldo Cuizon, a resident of Basak Center, Barangay Basak, Lapu-Lapu City, was immediately taken to the Lapu-lapu City Hospital after he sustained a gunshot wound in his right leg.
According to Cuizon, he was walking home after visiting his former live-in partner in Phase 1 Camella Homes of Barangay Pajac, Lapu-Lapu City when he was shot by two unidentified men on board a motorcycle.
He was able to run towards an interior portion of the place and lost sight of the assailants who sped off to an unknown direction.
Cuizon sought help from a stranger who took him to the hospital.
The victim could not identify who the men were. He also did not recognize the motorcycle and its plate number.
Cuizon told the police that he has no idea why he was shot at. He believes it has something to do with his relationship with his former live-in partner.
Police are still conducting further investigation to establish the real motive of the incident. (FREEMAN)
