Pay hike for health workers sought

CEBU, Philippines - A draft ordinance filed in the Mandaue City council seeks an increase in the honorariums of Clean and Green Program laborers and barangay health nutrition workers. 

The draft ordinance is now being reviewed by the committee on laws headed by Councilor Nenita Layese.

If approved, funds for the honorariums will come from barangay as well as city coffers. - THE FREEMAN
