Magpale lauds Consolacion officials on "Sarok's" success

CEBU, Philippines - Vice Governor Agnes Magpale lauded officials of the Consolacion town, Department of Education, and barangay officials for the success of the Sarok Festival.

The holding of the Sarok Festival was one of the highlights of the celebration of Consolacion’s 92nd founding anniversary.

Speaking at the Sta. Lucia Football Field in barangay Nangka, Magpale said the cooperation of town officials, barangay officials, and all sectors was the key to the success of the festival.

The Sarok Festival joined the Pasigarbo sa Sugbo last August and placed fifth place among more than 30 contingents.

For her part, Mayor Alegado expressed her gratitude to those who shared their effort, time, and talents.

The contingents that participated in the Sarok festival were  Cabangahan National High School, Consolacion National High School Evening Class, Garing National High School, Jugan National High School, Lanipga National High School, Pulpogan National High School, Tayud National High School, ToloTolo National High School, Tugbungan National High School, Cluster 1-Consolacion Central School; Cluster II-Elementary Schools in Tayud, Jugan, Lamac, Cansaga, Cabangahan, Sacsac, Panogpoy and Polog.Cluster III-Elementary Schools of Tugbungan, Nangka, Casili,ToloTolo, VLES, Garing, Danglag, Lanipga, and Panas, Our Lady of Joy Learning Center, Consolacion Community College, and Consolacion National High School Day Class. - THE FREEMAN
