CEBU, Philippines - After hearing complaints from stallholders at the new public market, Mandaue City Mayor Jonas Cortes has vowed to order the apprehension of ambulant vendors who continue to sell at the old public market.
“We have to protect our stallholders at the new public market,” Cortes said.
The new public market is located at the back of the Mandaue City Sangguniang Panlungsod.
Cortes has yet to decide what to do with tricycle drivers that still pick up passengers from the old market.
