Talisay most wanted person arrested

CEBU, Philippines - Police arrested Talisay City’s most wanted person in a raid in sitio Camarin, barangay Veto, Minglanilla town yesterday.

Police said Eleazar Jerks Garciano, 18, a resident of sitio Dawis, barangay San Roque, Talisay City, was arrested at his sister’s house in the place. Garciano is said to be a member of True Brown Style (TBS)-13 gang.

According to the police, Garciano is facing three cases in the trial court.

One of these cases is murder now pending at the Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 18. In this instant case, he was not allowed to post bail.

Garciano is also facing frustrated murder and attempted murder cases, which are now being heard at RTC branches.

The courts issued the warrants for his arrest for these three cases last October 28, Nov. 2, and 15 last year.

PO3 Ferdinand Pablo, one of the arresting officers, said Garciano is one of the city’s most wanted men due to his three criminal cases. – (FREEMAN)
