Sitoy seeks financial help from Pia, Peter to build classrooms, multi-purpose building

CEBU, Philippines - Cordova town Mayor Adelino Sitoy the other day asked Senator Alan Peter Cayetano and Senator Pia Cayetano for financial assistance to build classrooms and a multi-purpose building that would house a lying-in clinic and a birthing center.

Sitoy made his request to Rey Martinez, staff of Senator Alan Peter Cayetano, as Martinez turned over P100,000 worth of medical assistance for medicine for indigent residents who are confined at the Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center.

The turnover of the assistance was facilitated through the Companero Cayetano Tavang Volunteers organized by Martinez.

Mayor Sitoy expressed his gratitude to both Senators Alan Peter and Pia Cayetano for the help.

“Dako gayud kaayo ang pagpasalamat sa mga Cordovanhon sa tabang nga among nadawat gikan ni Senator Alan Peter Cayetano ug ingon man ni Senator Pia Cayetano, ilabi na gayud kay daghan sa among mga pasyente anha gayud madala sa Vicente Sotto,” said Mayor Sitoy.

Sitoy said the Cordova Community College needs classrooms in view of the increasing student population. (FREEMAN)
