Councilors' league in Cebu to give educational tool kits to 1,152 day care centers

CEBU, Philippines - The Philippine Councilors’ League Cebu Province Chapter will distribute educational tool kits to day care centers in Mandaue City and in Consolacion and Cordova towns next week, the league’s first program to be implemented.

PCL president Carmen Remedios “Ivy” Durano-Meca said the educational tool kits will make a difference in the lives of the pre-school children.

The educational tool kits consist of reference books, story books, and visual materials.

Durano-Meca said that this is in line with one of the objectives of the PCL which is to formulate, implement and coordinate programs, projects and activities beneficial to the general welfare of the people.

“We will distribute the educational tool kits to 1,152 day care centers all over Cebu province,” Meca said the program will cost P1.5 million. – (FREEMAN)
