Tanod dies, Bucao's son hurt in mishap

CEBU, Philippines - A barangay tanod of San Roque, Talisay City, who was driving a motorcycle, was killed after colliding with another motorcycle driven by the son of Talisay City Vice Mayor Alan Bucao at the Cebu South Coastal Road, San Roque at 8:20 p.m. Saturday.

No details about the incident appear on the police blotter of the city’s traffic division except the names of Christian Alan Bucao, being the driver of “vehicle A”, a resident of Sto. Niño Village,

barangay San Isidro; and Reynante Rabaya, San Roque’s barangay tanod, as the driver of “vehicle B” as subjects of the “damage to property with physical injury” incident.

PO2 Henry Diano, case investigator, failed to include in the blotter that Rabaya died shortly after the incident.
