Alleged thief found dead

CEBU, Philippines - A worker of the Material Recovery Facility (MRF) of the Lapu-Lapu City government was found dead in a mini-dumpsite at sitio Seabreeze in barangay Mactan yesterday morning.

Ramine Cabargo, legal age, married, was found yesterday morning with three hack wounds in the head, his upper extremities covered with a sack, while his short pants pulled down below his knees.

Police had theorized he was killed a few hours before his body was disposed of at the dumpsite on account of fresh blood found at the crime scene.

SPO1 Allan Pantaleon said Cabargo was alleged to be a thief and could have been killed by someone he had robbed.

His relatives dispute the allegations. (FREEMAN)
