Protesting workers won't budge at all

- Jose P. Sollano -

CEBU, Philippines - The police in Lapu-Lapu City repeatedly patrol the checkpoint area in barangay Pusok where former Philippine Air Lines employees are camped out to dramatize their grievances against the company.

Mayor Paz Radaza had ordered the police to keep their eyes peeled especially that something that resembled a coffin was seen in the area.

City police chief Senior Superintendent Anthony Obenza said he has sent men to the area.

The protesting former employees and their militant supporters said they won't budge until the company gives in to their demands.
