Man, 2 women arrested for selling shabu

CEBU, Philippines - A man and two women were arrested by the police in separate buy-bust operations in Lapu-Lapu City Friday.

First to fall were Gemmabel Alforque, of legal age, and Alex Torreon, all residents of Saac 1 in barangay Buaya, Lapu-Lapu City.

They were arrested while allegedly selling shabu on the roadside by a team led by P C/insp. Conrado Manatad.

Meanwhile another woman was arrested after she sold shabu to a poseur buyer in exchange for P200 in sitio Capayas, in barangay Canjulao, Lapu-Lapu City Friday evening.

Emelita Sorono, 45, married was arrested by a team led by SPO1 Dennis Valiente after accepting P200 in exchange for shabu.

Sorono is now detained pending the filing of charges against her. (FREEMAN)
