Man, woman arrested in buy-bust operation

CEBU, Philippines -  Police arrested Tuesday a son of a barangay tanod and his sister-in-law in his home in sitio Asinan, barangay Mantuyong, Mandaue City during a buy-bust operation.

Wendell Demape, 26, was arrested together with his sister-in-law Irene Bughaw, 19.

Based on the police report, Bughaw received the P200 marked money after which Demape handed the small pack of shabu to a poseur buyer.

Both Demape and Bughaw are detained at the Centro police station pending the filing of charges. – (FREEMAN)
