Mandaue CH workers soon to get free services from hospital

CEBU, Philippines - The Mandaue City Hospital will soon extend free medical services to Mandaue City hall employees.

City Councilor Demetrio Cortes, the committee chairman on health and sanitation at the city council, said draft ordinance No. 76-2011 or the Government Employees Medical Services which he has authored will pave way for the free medical services of all government employees of Mandaue City.

However, the draft ordinance stipulates that before city hall workers could avail of the free medical services of the city hospital, they will first have to present their identification cards before they could avail of benefits.

The draft ordinance will be tackled during the city council's session this Wednesday. (FREEMAN)
