Laborer kills fellow laborer

CEBU, Philippines - A laborer was stabbed and killed by a fellow laborer during an argument Sunday in Zone 4, barangay Mantuyong, Mandaue City.

Nonlen Pesadas, 45, married, a resident of the place was declared dead on arrival at the Mandaue City Hospital. He sustained a stab wound on the chest and another on the abdomen.

Raul Cabasa, alias Tambok, 47, was arrested but only after bystanders ganged up on him.

He too was taken to hospital for bruises inflicted by bystanders.

Cabasa is now detained at the Centro police station while murder charges are being prepared against him.
