Clinical instructor commits suicide

CEBU, Philippines - A clinical instructor in one of the medical schools in Cebu City allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself inside the toilet in his home in sitio Pilit, barangay Cabancalan in Mandaue City.

Alvin Adolfo, 35, single, worked for Cebu Doctors' University.

The Investigative and Detective Management Bureau (IDMB) said Adolfo was declared dead upon reaching the North General Hospital.

SPO2 Marcos Noval said debts could have driven Adolfo to commit suicide as the text messages in his phone would suggest.
