Lapu-Lapu fixing market building

CEBU, Philippines - The repair of the ground floor of the Lapu-Lapu City's public market is expected to be completed before the end of this month. The city will utilize this old market building until such time a new one can be built.

Rolando Duero, secretary of Mayor Paz Radaza told The FREEMAN that the city engineering office is expected to finish the repairs within the month.

Duero said repairs are necessary for the safety of both vendors and market goers.

When the patch up is completed on the second floor, repairs of the second floor will commence. — THE FREEMAN
