CEBU, Philippines - Lapu-Lapu City will improve its financial standing this year if the Mactan Cebu International Airport Authority settles its financial obligations to the city government.
At the moment, the airport is still reviewing the documents it received from the city government.
Mayor Paz Radaza said her recent meeting with Mactan airport general manager Paul Nigel Villarete was fruitful.
The city government claims the airport owes the city P1 billion in real property taxes. -
