Two men rob taxi driver, seize car

CEBU, Philippines - Two men, after robbing a taxi driver, fled with his vehicle Sunday.
Michael Bonhayag, 30, single, of Zone Gabi in barangay Paknaan, Mandaue City claimed he picked up two passengers that day in Lapu-Lapu City and was told to be taken to Mango Ave. in Cebu City.
While cruising at the foot of the Marcelo Fernan Bridge in barangay Umapad in Mandaue, the men declared a holdup, taking his phone, P3,000, and some documents.
Bonhayag alleged the two men asked him to proceed to UN Avenue and there he was ordered to get off.
As of press time, the taxi has not yet been recovered.
