"E-waste boxes" in gov't offices

CEBU, Philippines - The Mandaue City council, through a resolution, wants “E-waste boxes” placed in government offices in the city to facilitate the proper disposal of old and unusable electronic gadgets.

The resolution is authored by Councilor Demetrio Cortes.

Cortes said in homes and in the dumping areas, old and unusable electronic gadgets have been piling up and could help put the environment at risk. – (FREEMAN)
