Talisay City College grad lands in top 10 in teachers exams

CEBU, Philippines - Another graduate of the Talisay City College topped the Licensure Examination for Teachers in the elementary level held last April.

Mary Kaye Oliverio Misa, who got 83.20 percent, placed number 8 together with seven other takers, three of whom are also from Cebu schools.

Misa shares the 8th rank with fellow Cebuanos Riza Mae Quimada Rule of the University of the Visayas and Luzbel Kris Gabrinez Villanueva of Cebu Normal University.

A total of 5,221 examinees passed the LET in elementary level given last April 3.

Misa is a TCC graduate of Bachelor of Elementary Education major in Special Education.

This is the second time the fledgling city college has produced a graduate that made it to the top ten.

The first was Aiza Valenzona Pansacala who emerged number 9 in the 2009 LET in the elementary level. – THE FREEMAN
