Dead baby found

CEBU, Philippines -  A dead infant placed inside a cardboard box was found yesterday near a garbage pile along the road in barangay Poblacion, Cordova town.

Police said the baby boy was about nine months old.

Cordova Municipal Health Officer Dr. Cristopher Calimbas confirmed the baby was newly born.  (FREEMAN)
